The BQC System is a complete control system for bass guitars. Active Balance, Master Volume and EQ circuits are included. The EQs allow you separate control over bass, midrange, and treble all via 2 concentric/stacked pots. Rotate the control clockwise to boost, counterclockwise to cut. There is a center detent for flat response. The mid-range control has a variable frequency knob that allows you to sweep through the mid-frequency range from 100Hz to 1KHz. This selects the frequency to boost or cut.

All EMG Pickups are built to order. Estimated shipping is between 7-14 business days.

Love the control of the mids with this thing. I recommend running it at 18 volts. All the bite and beef you could want

Even though the installation was made more difficult due to my custom built bass needing special accommodations, the support I received from EMG was timely and very helpful.

I needed a replacement wire and was sent one immediately, even adding extra length to better fit my specific needs with this instrument. The solderless design is a breeze to work with and is extremely reliable. I like it so much I offer EMG wiring, controls, and preamps as standard in my custom basses and guitars, regardless of the pickups the customer desires.

The feel and control, the variety and range of tones easily accessible, the clarity, the power, the depth of the tone, is second to none. Combined with my Ampeg SVT 4 Pro I get tones that always garner compliments, no matter what style of music I am playing. In my primary music genre, metal that fuses thrash, progressive, and classic, I never have a problem cutting through the mix and feel free to play whatever the moment inspires to flow from within through my instrument, which is now truly an extension of myself.
