My name is Kieran Johnston and I am the lead guitarist of metal outfit Perpetua, having been in the band since its inception in 2014. I have played guitar since the age of 14 and I’m heavily influenced from the likes of Paul Gilbert, Marty Friedman, Nuno Bettencourt etc. and have used what I have learned to combine it into my own unique sound.
I currently endorse Charvel guitars and my first real introduction to EMG pickups was the passive H1A set which I put into my Satin Black DK24 Pro Mod. I was blown away by the sound I was getting, the responsiveness…the TONE! I instantly fell in love with the brand afterwards.
