John McCarthy is the lead guitarist for New Haven Connecticut punk band Tears Fall Down and a new generation EMG player! Playing his ESP James Hetfield Iron Cross loaded with the JH Set, Johnny Blues shreds through the TFD set gig after gig. Being a three piece band , Johnny relies on his EMG tone to stand out and crush every note. Having grown up in a musical family it was a natural to gravitate towards music and playing guitar. Fronting TFD gives Johnny the ability to show is vocal and guitar skills. With energy and talent abound, there’s no doubt there’s an enormous amount of great music to come.
