With a throwback sound that pays homage to early grindcore legends like Napalm Death, Bolt Thrower, and Carcass, Phoenix-based death/grind quintet Landmine Marathon is garnering praise from fans and critics alike with their ferocious riffage, blistering grind mentality, and pure sense of urgency. Formed in 2004, the band has risen through sheer will and determination and have recently signed with Prosthetic records. Bassist Matt Martinez (MMCS, PJ set, 35DC, 40DC), Ryan Butler (81X/85X), and Dylan Thomas (81X/85X), are all extremely stoked to be part of the EMG family and had this to say, "we are 100% dedicated EMG users, you have made our day!"
