The TBCS offers excellent frequency range and response thanks to our low noise, low-impedance internal preamp. Using a pair of ceramic and steel loaded coils, players get beautifully smooth yet powerful pickup with a subtle top end. This pickup comes with EMGs solderless wiring and pots for easy installation.

The only choice for Modern ThunderbirdsI installed a CS pickup in the neck position of my thunderbird and it rocks. EMG deserves a lot of credit for being the only vendor to offer a truly drop-in replacement for a modern thunderbird. The pickup still kept the thunderbird tone but gave me more of it.
