Installed 2 TBDC in a Gibson ThunderbirdThe installation was easy following the directions. My Bass has a long barrel jack but I was able to reuse the stock part by just soldering the negative battery to the ring. Sound is a big improvement, active pickups are much louder when finger picking and very clear. My only complaint is I could not reuse the stock knobs because the pots are bigger so I ordered some EMG knobs. Overall I am very satisfied with the improvement in tone and enjoy playing it much more than with the stock mono tone sound.
