Incredible Sound and Easy InstallI bought this set to replace the stock humbuckers on an old Washburn XB400 I couldn't part with. The sound and tone are light years ahead of the old pickups! I use a master volume and a tone knob for each pickup, using the volume to adjust between the neck and bridge pickups. I can get great tone for jazz, rock, funk, whatever before even adjusting my amp or pedals. Completely satisfied. So glad I found this set! They fit perfectly, too, no routing needed. The only adjustment unique to my bass was that I needed a slightly longer 9V battery cord, which was easy to get from EMG.
