Pure Badass FTC! ❤️I just got my EMG FTC to install to match my other 2 guitars that use the FT and RetroActive 52 FT.
The FT 4.85 and FTC 5.30 are the 2 highest resonant peak EMG pickups if you check specs to compare.
I installed mine in the bridge for that peak.
Just prefer the Tele Neck EMG pickups over Tele Bridge and Strat models active.
To my ears the FTC kinda blows away the 81 for sheer aggression yet it has brutal jangle-chime like a Danelectro Lipstick Tube on steroids.
Many thanks to EMG team for guidance and help for many years.
To me, EMG are the highest quality pickups on Earth hands-on.
