great choiceI was a maker of electric and uprigt basses in Cyprus from 1997 to 2005, and I used to use to my instruments the b30eq control. that time emg was selling this product only to instrument manufacturers of musical instruments and not to the musicians or music shops. my basses had an exhilarating sound and stood out. it also allowed to the woods to provide the real color for their sound, the system respects the sound of the wood and does not impose its sound on the wood. thus the instrument retains its perspective but at the same time it has the color of EMG. I highly recommend trying it out.
