The EMG Hex-driver is a pocket-size tool designed specifically for guitar and bass players. One side of the tool fits most tone and volume pot hex nuts, and the other side fits your output jack hex nut. No need to carry around a socket wrench set, the EMG Hex-driver fits in your guitar case, gig bag, or backpack. This player’s tool has a 7/16” (11 mm) socket on one side and 1/2” (12.8mm) on the other. These standard sizes mean the Hex-driver will cover an array of jobs for guitar repair, even fitting many effects pedal hex nuts. Designed, tooled, and molded in our shop in California, the Hex-Driver comes in red, black, and ivory color options.

Fantastic little toolThis thing I bought on a whim with an order of pickups turned out to be quite a handy little gadget indeed. It stays at the top of my toolbox and makes the pickup installs and swaps so much easier without having to dig out clunky wrenches. Mine has been used so much already and I'm really happy to have it around. It's also a little less worriesome for scratching the finish on your guitar. Great idea EMG!
