40PX-5

The 40PX-5 has increased headroom that gives the voicing a more open tone while still retaining the clarity and response that EMG’s are renowned for. Featuring ceramic magnets coupled with short, squat P coils and powered by a newly designed preamp in a 40 Extended housing that is 4 inches (102mm), the 40PX-5 has a natural presence, powerful lows, punchy midrange, and superior definition. It is intended for 5-string models that have a standard string spacing (3.125" max).

Package Includes: EMG's exclusive Solderless Install System (Patent pending); cable, prewired solid shaft volume/active tone control set, output jack, battery clip set, and adjustment screws.
