The 40PX has increased headroom giving the voicing a more open tone while still maintaining the clarity and response that EMG’s are renowned for. Featuring ceramic magnets coupled with short, squat P coils and powered by a newly designed preamp in a 40 Extended housing that is 4 inches (102mm), the 40PX has a natural presence, powerful lows, punchy midrange, and superior definition. It is intended for 6-string models that have a more narrow string spacing (3.25" max).
Package Includes: EMG's exclusive Solderless Install System (Patent pending); cable, prewired solid shaft volume/active tone control set, output jack, battery clip set, and adjustment screws.
