Rich “The Duke” Ward is the creative force behind Stuck Mojo - one of the 90's most powerful and highly-regarded underground bands, since then Rich has collaborated with WWE Superstar Chris Jericho (vocals) to form the heavy metal band “Fozzy” and just released their 5th studio album “Chasing The Grail” on Roit! Records. Rich uses the EMG 81 and 60 in original and X series versions with the PA2 boost.

“For years I have experimented with different pickup configurations, trying to find the perfect balance between tone and aggressiveness. In a recent studio session, I played a classic guitar loaded with EMG 81s, plugged into a Krankenstein + and a classic old cab loaded with 25 watt speakers. After the first few takes, I smiled as it had become clear that I could never go back to passive pickups. Zakk Wylde, Woff Hoffmann, Andy Sneap, James Hetfield, and David Gilmore have all used EMG pickups to produced some of the greatest guitar tones in the history of Rock and Roll.
