  • We’re back! And NAMM was once again a huge success and a ton of fun. We’d like to say thanks to all our dealers, artists and friends in the industry who came by to say hello and check out our new products for 2010, which included:

    EMG Chrome and Gold X Series

    EMG’s innovative X Series humbuckers are now available in Chrome and Gold finishes. The USA made caps have been designed with the highest quality materials to withstand years of use without fading or cracking.

    Models Now Available: 81X, 85X & 60X

    HZ SRO Passive Series

    These traditional open coils were designed with the perfect balance between clarity & high gain. The SRO OC1 is perfect for rock, blues, metal, or country. Don’t let the passive design fool you; there is plenty of power when you want it. With specific designs for neck and bridge positions, the Alnico V bar magnets provide the right amount of sustain and distortion. From garage to arena, the HZ SRO Series OC1’s will pack the house - Standing Room Only!

    The new SRO SC1 is designed in the vintage Strat style, with crisp high end and a warm midrange. With Alnico V bar magnets, each SC1 is designed specifically for neck, middle and bridge positions, providing the right amount of clarity, definition, and the Strat “quack” you’ve been looking for. Pack the house, Standing Room Only!

    EMG X Series Combo Sets

    Back in the early 80’s the idea to add a humbucking pickup to a Strat caught fire. Since then we’ve done just about every conceivable combination you can think of, and now they’re available in EMG’s new innovative X Series models, featuring our solderless systems.

    Combos Now Available: SAX/SAX/81X, SAX/SAX/85X and SAX/SAX/89X

    EMG X Series Models for Guitar

    EMG has expanded the new X Series products for 2010 Including more humbuckers, 7 string, 8 string, single-coil and coil-tapping models. X Series provides increased headroom giving the voicing an organic and open tone while still maintaining the clarity and response that EMG’s are renowned for.

    Models Now Available: SLVX, 58X, 89X, HX, HAX, 707X, 60-7X, 81-7X, 81TWX, 707TWX, and 808X.

    EMG X Series Sets for Jazz Bass

    Introducing EMG’s new X Series for Jazz basses, the JAX Sets are Alnico V bars giving a warm and smooth tone. The JVX Sets give a more vintage organic tone featuring traditional pole-pieces. The JCSX’s provide a warmer attack.
