Chrys Johnson has recently joined up with Devin Townsend as 2nd guitarist to round out his mostly 'acoustic' live band that will be performing the Ghost record in it's entirety in select cities around the world.
Prior to working with Hevy Devy, Chrys has had the good fortune to work with some cool people on the last few Only Human releases; James Murphy (Death, Testament, Disincarnate) was a guest soloist on one track and mastering engineer on 'The Dismantling', Don Gunn (Peter Frampton, Trey Gunn, Matt Cameron) was the recording and mixing engineer on 'The Dismantling', Steve Carter (3 Inches of Blood, Himsa, Cradle of Filth) was recording and mixing engineer on 'Tyranny of Ignorance'. Chrys has opened of for the likes of Between the Buried and Me, Cryptopsy, Something Must Die, Into Eternity, Will Haven, Apiary, Cattle Decapitation and many others.
