Anders Nyström Katatonia, Bloodbath
Guitarist Anders Nystrom, founder of metal bands Katatonia and Bloodbath is a renowned composer, arranger and producer, and has been involved in many other groups including Bewitched and Diabolical Masqerade. While Katatonia's more recent albums have progressed to a wider sound, with modern overtones, dropped guitars, symphonic synths and arrangements, alternative sounds and generally heavier riffs, his other project, Bloodbath is straight up Death Metal. Anders plays the EMG-81/85 combo and also the EMG-81TW/89 combo in his Mayones Signature model axes. In his words "Nothing else gives me the brutal tone like EMG".
