Diego was born in Los Angeles, California to a musical family. At the age of 11, he picked up his first guitar along with a Pro Tools rig. Ever since that day he knew he was going to be a musician. growing up, Diego saw a lot of his favorite heavy-toned guitarists playing EMG's. As soon as he tried his first EMG it was love at first sight. Diego remembers the first guitar he bought with EMG 81's. The second he plugged it in, he couldn't help but notice how superior the high gain tone's sounded as opposed to every other pickup he had ever tried! EMG's bring out the aggressive, full, crisp, and clear sound that Diego wants from every guitar he plays.
